Its Time For Change! It Makes Cents.

Dear Friends,

            As a candidate for Pinal County Treasurer, I am coming to you with hat in hand asking you to contribute to my “Campaign for Change.” A campaign of any kind demands a tremendous commitment on the part of candidate, party, and supporters.  I ask that you become one of my supporters and provide the financial assistance I will need to get elected.

            My supporters to date know me both professionally and personally and have every confidence that my background and education in administration and  management makes me uniquely qualified to take on the task of Pinal County Treasurer.

            In the 13 years that I have lived and worked in Pinal County and Gold Canyon, I have seen no change in leadership, worse yet, I have seen no change in the attitudes of current leadership at the Pinal County level.  The County has not adapted to the changes that the growth explosion has brought, and as a consequence, the county has suffered at all levels. This lack of effective elected leadership has allowed for abuse to occur as evidenced in the recent Stan Giffiths embezzlement and fraud litigation and subsequent sentencing.  The significant lack of oversight, checks and balances is evident in all departments of the County and needs to be addressed before the image and function of Pinal County is damaged beyond repair.

            I feel that my skills make me extremely capable and I will do whatever needed to bring about change to address the deficiencies that currently exist both in the Treasurer’s office and the County as a whole.
